Empire is required to file forms 1095-B and 1094-B electronically with the IRS for all fully insured plans. The deadline to file federal tax forms 1095-B and 1095-C is March 2, 2023. The IRS has permanently extended the deadline from January 31. Fully insured and self-insured (Administrative Services Only) employers with 50 or more full-time employees are considered Applicable Large Employers (ALE) and are required to also file form 1095-C along with 1094-C.
We will also submit state filings for both the District of Columbia and New Jersey.
Vermont does not require a state filing.
Employers will need to submit state filings in Rhode Island. Empire is not licensed there.
