Consumers who received or were approved to receive unemployment compensation for any week in 2021 can take advantage of new savings on health coverage beginning July 1, 2021. They are eligible for additional premium tax credits and cost sharing reductions at the same level as those with a household income no greater than 133% of the Federal Poverty Level.
Existing enrollees who received or were approved to receive unemployment compensation in 2021 should return to myanthemchoices.com on or after July 1 to resubmit their health plan application. They should reselect their plan by July 31, 2021, to have the additional tax credits applied to their plan beginning August 1, 2021. They can still change or upgrade their plan if they resubmit their application before August 15, 2021.
Those who do not resubmit their application may still receive the additional premium tax credit amount they qualify for when they file their annual federal income tax return for 2021.
